Gulab Jamun Recipe
Garma garam, super soft, and super easy to make. Do try it and you will love it too
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup milk powder(nido or any other)
- 1 n 1/2 tbsp flour(maida)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 n 1/2 tbsp ghee or oil
- 1 egg
- Oil for frying
For Sheera:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 5 cardamoms
-In a pot boil together water, sugar and cardamom for 20-25 mins till it thickens a bit.
INSTRUCTIONS
-Mix together milk powder, flour and baking powder. Then add egg and ghee/oil and start mixing and kneading like a dough.
– Grease your hands a bit and knead for 2-3 mins,it will be very sticky, but let it rest for 10-12 mins and it will get harder.
-Grease ur hands a bit again and make crackless balls(v imp).
-Now fry these balls at low to medium heat for 8-9 mins till golden brown from all sides.
-Dip these gulab jamuns in hot sheera and let it simmer for another 10 min at low heat. Let it rest for atleast 30 min. And That’s ittt. They are ready. Enjoy garma garam
