Ingredients :
- 3 – 4 thick slices of stale bread (depending on size)
- 2 tbsp white chia seeds (ground)
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk
- 1 tbsp nutrional yeast
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of Kala namak salt
Toppings:
- Raspberries
- Almond butter
- Maple syrup
Method:
1- In a shallow bowl, mix together ground chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, nutritional yeast, kala namak salt and cinnamon.
2- Soak bread slices in chia mix and fry them in a non stick pan for a few minutes until on both sides until golden brown.
3- Top with raspberries, maple syrup and almond butter and enjoy
4- I used my homemade sweet potato bread for this recipe!
5- If you don’t have kala namak, substitute with regular salt. It just helps create more of an „eggy“ flavor.
