This is such an easy recipe to follow, I used lamb but you could use beef if you prefer. I served it with mash potatoes and green beans, pasta or rice would also be delicious with it!
Ingredients
- 900g lamb neck fillets, cut into large chunks
- 300g shallots, halves lengthways
- 400g small button mushroom
- 350ml red wine
- 2 tins of tomatoes
- 350ml of water
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- A few sprigs of Rosemary and thyme or a bouquet garni
- 1tbsp olive oil
- salt and peppery
