Easy peasy but Fingerlicking good Kofta salan
INGREDIENTS
For koftas(meatballs)
- 500 gms beef mince(or chicken mince)(makes 12-15)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tsp gingergarlic paste
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
Mix everything together, grease your hands and make crackless kofta balls.
For gravy:
- 1 large onion chopped
- 3 medium tomatoes chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp red chilli
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp gingergarlic paste
- 1 cup oil
- 2 red chillies whole(optional)
- 4-6 Green chillies
- 1-2 cups water(depends on how much gravy you want )
INSTRUCTIONS
In a pot add oil and onions, saute till they start turning light brown, add green chillies,red chillies and all the mentioned spices, saute a bit then add tomatoes, saute, blend everything with a blender(or with hand blender) cook at medium heat till oil separates.
Now add kofta in the gravy cook for a minute then cover and cook for 10-12 minutes. Uncover, stir and add water now, let the water boil & cook the gravy for 15 more mins till oil separates and koftas are cooked.
Garnish with coriander and ginger and enjoyyy
