  • ½ cup salted butter
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided, or to taste (Optional)
