Super quick and easiest roast recipe you can get
INGREDIENTS
- 1 whole chicken(wash and put slits)
- 1 cup water
- Oil for frying
For marination
- 1 n 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 n 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp cumin powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 4-5 Green chillies crushed
- 2 tsp gingergarlic paste
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp any tikka masala(optional)
- 5 tbsp oil
Mix everything together ,rub the marinade on the chicken really well.
Let it rest for 20 mins.
INSTRUCTIONS
– Cook the the chicken along with the extra marinade & water, till its tender and done, don’t overcook
-(for pressure cooker it takes 6 mins,& For simple pot around 25 minutes to cook)
-Take out the chicken and shallow fry from all the sides till nice and golden.
-Meanwhile cook the remaining marinade for 10 mins till it turns into a thick sauce.
And thatttts about it. Delicious roast with yummy gravy is ready. Pour gravy over the roast or serve separately. Enjoy
