This is an addictively yummy recipe. Make this on Eid and it will be a super hit.
So versatile,you can use any toppings you like and it will be Fingerlicking good.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup oil
- Half cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 n half cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- Half cup coconut dessicated
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven at 180c degrees
Beat together oil and sugar, then add egg, beat well till pale, add milk, mix, then add flour,baking powder, mix, and then add coconut .
Grease an 8 inch square pan.
Pour the batter. Bake for 35 min till the skewer comes out clean.
- ▪️3 milk mixture
- 1 tin evaporated milk
- 1 cup milk
- 5 tbsp condensed milk
Mix these together and set aside
▪️Caramel Sauce(or any topping of your choice)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- Half cup milk
In a pan, melt brown sugar at low heat. Keep stirring. Once melted, immediately add cream, stir stir, then add butter, keep stirring. Once everything is well incorporated, remove from heat and add milk, mix till a nice thick consistency.
▪️Assemble:
Take out the cake once it’s done. Let it cool. Then poke it with a fork. Add the 3 milk mixture gradually in steps. Let the cake soak the mixture.
Take some whipping cream. Spread generously. Then pour the Caramel sauce at the end. Chill the cake before serving. Enjoyyyy
